I deliver a warm, caring & inviting environment with a high standard of the EYFS to ensure quality childcare that your child will love, grow & learn with. I am Ofsted registered and am registered with ICO for Data Protection. I also hold the relevant first aid training and safeguarding.
I am here to offer support and provide childcare in a caring home environment, I meet the needs of the parents and children to the best of my ability. childcare starts from 8 weeks right through the school years to provide ongoing childcare...this ensures children remain happy and confident and will thrive on the continuity of care throughout their early years.
I live in a great location of Haresfinch, close to the A580 Manchester-Liverpool and links to motorways.
I adhere to strict safety measures to ensure our children are happy and safe.
I can cater for children with special needs or allergy. I have had previous experience with a number of needs.
My menu is healthy and nutritious and awarded a health eating certificate by St. Helens Council. with allergies catered for, my menu greatly reduces preservatives, food colourings and common allergens.
My Experience
I am a very experienced childminder with over 16 years in this role. We do a range of topics to learn about the world around us from ourselves, animals, mini-beasts, food chains, space, weather, seasons, people who help us etc to baking activities, crafts, play-doh, maths, phonics, books and mark making, loose parts. I follow a child-led pedagogy and use schematic behaviours observed to
incorporate the curriculum goals for each child. I aim to teach children empathy, patience, self-care skills, knowledge of the world and our community, confidence, emotional well-being and so much more... Our world is fun to discover.
My Qualifications
Studying my 6th of 6-year BA (honours) Early Childhood Degree.
CACHE level 3 speech, Language and Communication
Home and Childcare GCE A+
Child day-care setting diploma level 3
GCSE Maths & English
Level 2 counselling skills
I study a variety of courses for CPD based on schemas, play-based approach to learning, and all topics relevant to early years education. all certificates are available to view at the setting during your viewing and on this portal.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Full Fees lists are available upon request. I offer hourly rates and set fees for am/pm or full days £45 per day for childcare
I offer the FEEE government funded places for 9 months+, 2,3 and 4 year olds.

From the very beginning when looking for a childminder we were immediately drawn to Tracey’s profile and knew straight away following a meet and greet that she was everything we were looking for and more.
Her passion for childcare and learning within this field is inspiring, and we admire her drive for self-development.
Our son started with Tracey in October 2024 and she has made the process so much easier with her endless support and guidance. This includes everything from navigating us through the childcare funding minefield to providing constant emotional reassurance as we adjust to this new chapter of our lives and change in routine.
Tracey has been brilliant in helping our son with overcoming the initial separation anxiety when leaving him, as well as ensuring we as parents are constantly supported and updated with regular messages.
Her continued kindness and patience has allowed our son to settle quickly and seeing him so happy and content truly is a credit to Tracey and all her hard work.
It takes a lot of trust to leave your child with someone new, but we can confidently say that Tracey is an absolute star and we share peace of mind knowing our son is left in safe hands.
We are privileged in having her as our childminder and appreciate the important role she now plays in our little family.
As the weeks and months go on we look forward to seeing our son blossom under Tracey’s wings and couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

I'm going to cry! Thank you so much... We share the credit when it comes to settling in. Children need a certain type of confident attachment style with parents to settle so quickly. It's as much a testament to you as parents as it is my experience with children. I am honoured to be part of your family and share in all the learning journeys together.
My daughter has been going to Tracey's for over a year now and loves it. After having problems with the previous childminder, my daughter was very anxious at first and Tracey was brilliant and so patient with her. She always keeps everyone updated with everything. All the children love Tracey. She does so much with them from going to soft play centres to frequently visiting knowsley safari park. She treats everyone as family. I would recommend Tracey 100% 💞

Tracey has had my child for over a year and hes come on leaps and bounds, the effort and care she puts in to the children is 100%. She treats your precious child like family and becomes family, you wont find better than tracey!

Tracey is an amazing childminder and I feel so lucky to have found her! My little girl has been going to Tracey’s for nearly three years and the care she has received has been absolutely second-to-none. Tracey treats all of the children in her care as if they are part of her family. She goes above and beyond to be helpful, flexible and accommodating to any needs.
The children go on brilliant outings, for example to music classes, play centres, the safari park, garden centres and more. Tracey has a well thought-out curriculum and takes time to develop and nurture her mindees emotionally and educationally. Most of all, she shows them so much kindness, compassion and love. There is a parents’ Whatsapp group in which we receive regular updates and photos of the children having the time of their lives!
Our little girl is going to miss Tracey so much when she starts school, but fortunately our little boy is now attending the setting! We know that the care he is receiving is truly incredible and I am so delighted to have Tracey as his childminder (and now my friend!).

Our little girl has attended Tracey’s for approaching 2 years. She absolutely loves it! She is always asking ‘is it a Tracey day today’ and ‘what we doing with Tracey today’. Tracey takes the children on adventures every week, and our little one has made proper friendships with both the other children and Tracey. Really supportive when we first started and always willing to share advice and equally important always open to working together. My wife and I are able to go about our working day comfortably knowing that our daughter is having a fun day with Tracey.
