About Me
My name is Chantelle, I'm currently living in Harefield.
I have a level 3 qualification which I received a distinction result in. I also have a dance teaching degree and 10 years experience working in nurseries and schools, and 12 years experience as a nanny and/or babysitter.
I am enthusiastic, outgoing and friendly. I'm very friendly and I've been a carer for my younger twin brothers since I was six years old. I'm fully first aid trained and DBS checked as I currently work in a nursery as the Preschool room leader, DSL, third in charge and SENDCO.
I have been a nanny for two wonderful little girls ages 2&5 until they were 5&8, from 3:30 pm five days a week. I have also cared for a little girl with cerebral palsy, giving her medication, get her up in the morning, feed and dress her, entertain and care for her.
My brothers are severely disabled and fully reliant on us at 22years old and still in nappies and being fed mushed up food. So I'm very used to taking care of children that need me and need help.
I’ve been a dancer since I was 3 years old, and trained with the Royal Academy of Dance to receive my degree. This keeps me confident and bubbly!
I've finished and passed all my A Levels and GCSE's
I'm very enthusiastic and reliable, I love caring for my siblings, and the children and babies I have had the absolute pleasure of teaching and watching grow.
My Experience
I currently work in a nursery as the Preschool room leader, DSL, third in charge and SENDCO. So I have lots of experience in setting up activities based on the child(rens) development, personal care, being a nurturing and friendly adult to children, supporting children with SEND, considering and observing safeguarding and leading childrens care and experience.
Nannied two little girls (healthy) for two years from 3:30 on weekdays in Northwood.
Caring for a little girl with cerebral palsy in Greenford; giving medication, feeds, washing and dressing, entertaining and caring for her.
Caring for my disabled brothers who are 22years old but mentally 6months old.
Nannying a little girl aged 2 and a half.
My Qualifications
Distinction Level 3 in childcare.
First aid
SENDCO qualification
Safeguarding training which has been updated yearly.
Degree in dance education from the Royal Academy of Dance.
I passed all my A Levels (dance, drama, English literature and language and creative writing)
I also passed all of my GCSE's (cored subjects: English, math, science, ict, sport. And my chosen: drama, dance and art)

Chantelle has been our son's key worker for the the last year. And we wouldn't have it any other way. She is by far one of the most trusted, caring, supportive pre-school staff members I've had the pleasure to cross paths with.
She was deeply invested in our son's wellbeing before he moved from baby room to preschool, so the transition was smooth (and anxiety-free!).
She always goes above and beyond to update us on daily activities, progression milestones, achievements and behaviour. She provides additional support and resources if there are any concerns (in and outside of nursery hours), and always considers communication with empathy and kindness as she knows I worry!
Chantelle is confident and highly qualified. Her passion for elevating creativity in preschool activities is second to none, and her side hustle of social media guru to build community and connection for the nursery is a joy to watch.
Being greeted daily by a friendly face who our son loves is priceless. Great people are ultimately what makes a nursery successfully and Chantelle is one such example. A one in a million and an incredibly invaluable asset!
(On a side note, Chantelle is also one of our babysitters. You can't put a price on knowing your child is with someone you trust!)

My family and I absolutely love Chantelle and still keep in touch with her now. Her kind, fun and caring nature meant both my boys warmed to her instantly. She’s incredibly competent, has so many ideas around how to engage and have fun with kids whilst also setting boundaries. She really is part of the family and am so sad to lose her as a carer for my two boys but we couldn’t give her the hours she needed.
