Unprofessional

As a parent and ex employee I can hand on heart say that the girls at KaiDrums put 110% into their job day in and day out, they're amazing! Unfortunately they are treated very poorly, often being made to cry (infront of children). When management have a problem with parents, it is very much taken out on the child. While my own daughter was their I witnessed a child entering the building on her own using the security codes with permission of management. (major safeguarding breach). With all the hard work the girls put in, it's such a shame they are let down by this behaviour and with ofsted looming, I imagine she's scrambling to put right many wrongs.

The emphasis is on ex employee. Disgruntled hoping to discredit the very place that gave her a second chance.

KaiDrums is very friendly and flexible

My daughter started this nursery 16 months ago. shes gone from wearing nappys to pants, from crying to not leave me to kissing me goodbye, from not communicating to expressing what she feels. She has grown up so much since she started, she always comes home saying the staff are her best friends:) If ive ever had any issues ive gone straight to Debbie and she has always sorted them out. Debbie would go above and beyond to help you out with anything if she could. Im going to be sad when my daughter leaves but its another new adventure in her life. I no she will be sad to leave her key worker aswell. Would just like to say thank you for helping her grow into the confident little girl she is today x

Unprofessional

My kids went for a week. On the last morning i waited outside ringing both bells for 20 minutes, my children were booked in for the time that i got there because i have to catch a bus to work. I called the manager debbie and she said that she wasnt on site and that someone should be there. i saw another member of staff walking across the car park and i asked if i could leave them to go in with her which she agreed. When i went to pick my kids up i was talking to debbie about that morning and she acted as if i hadnt rang her and accused me of lying infront of my children so my daughter told her that we actually were waiting for that long. She was very rude talking to me as if i was stupid and said that i would still have to pay for standing outside and that her staff arent expected to stand at the door waiting for us. As i was leaving she changed her tone and was trying to get me to book in for the following week but i said no. She also tried to charge me for the times that my kids spent at their schools after school club

Yes this family did use KaiDrums for a week. never arrived on time and the day in question, Staff member was available but unfortunately had not heard the bell. I answered the woman's tel call and responded by calling the nursery to alert the staff. Apology was given. .Mother didn't want to pay for 10 mins she had been waiting however was very happy to be late to collect her children at the end of most days for which she was not charged.
At no point was i rude and i fully understand your complaint. Same staff member waited an hour for same family to arrive just two days previously!
This was an unfortunate occasion but i dont feel this family intended to stay having returned to the provision she had just left having accused them of racism.
