My Experience
Hello! I started my own childcare company , Little Berry’s (July 2020) providing local temporary and adhoc childcare services...I offer newborn support, including maternity night nursing (up to 8 weeks) /Temporary daily Nanny/Mother’s help and babysitting during the week/ occasional weekends. I am a qualified nursery nurse and a qualified midwife. I have years of experience working with children of all different ages and in different settings. I am also happy to help with your childcare needs on a temporary basis (up to 4 weeks) until you find someone more permanent. Or happy to cover your current childcare provider for holidays etc. (Subject to availability) Please note I provide temp/adhoc childcare only...I do not provide permanent care. Thanks for looking.

We were looking for a childminder for our 10-month-old son when we found Nicky on childcare.co.uk. We were quite apprehensive about finding the right person, as it would be the first time we would be leaving our son with someone besides family. We were looking for 8-hour care so our son could be looked after at home on our wedding day and we wanted someone we knew we would feel comfortable with. Nicky was absolutely that person! We had a few ‘play dates’ ahead of the big day, where Nicky came to our house and got to know us and our son, and from the first time she stepped through the door, she was warm, friendly, professional and totally put us at ease. Our son warmed to her immediately and they had a great bond from the get-go. Nicky’s natural ability with children is evident and we would not hesitate to ask her to come back and look after our son again.

Nicky arrived in time, was very professional, and immediately engaged with our kids (a baby and a three years old). Our baby was going through separation anxiety, and she still was able to sooth him. Very kind and professional. Thank you!

We worked with Nicky for more than 1.5 years, starting when our little girl was just 8 months old. Nicky's been amazing from the start. As busy parents, having someone as reliable as Nicky was a big help.
More than just being on time, Nicky really took good care of our daughter. She understood what little ones need and gave them lots of attention. We felt really lucky to have her.
What was great about Nicky was how well she fit into our family. She understood our routines and how we liked to do things. She was super professional too.
We recently stopped working with Nicky because our little one started nursery. However, we look forward to working with her again when we need childcare.
In short, Nicky became like family to us. We trusted her completely with our daughter. If you need someone reliable, caring, and professional, Nicky's the correct person.

Nicky helped me out juggling a my two sons (a 10 week old and a two year old) every evening for a week. She was fantastic with both boys (who loved her!), and very flexible moving between the two of them - be it playing with them, feeding them or changing nappies. She was also very quick to respond to emails/texts, punctual and very accommodating of the specific hours I needed her help during. Would highly recommend Nicky and hope to use her services again. Thanks heaps Nicky!
