Best childminder

Both our girls had a great time at Carol’s setting. Both started when they were one year old respectively (just two years after another) and settling in was no problem.
Carol has an array of activities on offer and almost every day my girls came home with a painting, pasta necklace, some fingerprint art and and and.
Carol takes the children out to the park and meets with other childminders, so there’s lots of socialising possible. She also has a garden on offer.
During the pandemic she stayed in contact by sending videos; singing nursery rhymes or reading books.
I felt my girls were very safe with Carol and they always welcomed me with a big smile at pick-up time.

Outstanding Childminder

Our 2 year old son has been going to Carol’s setting for 18 months now. He absolutely loves her and misses her so much when he’s not there.

Carol is absolutely committed to creating a safe, loving, creative and developmental environment for children to grow and learn in.

We really value Carol’s communication with us about how our son is getting on and her ideas for how we can support his development.

Carol tailors her approach to each individual child and really takes the time to get to know her families. We would be absolutely lost without her!

Faultless

Carol has had our two boys (6 and 2) in succession over the last 5 years.

We couldn't have found anyone better.

She's very experienced and conscientious, completely trustworthy, utterly reliable, and loving to boot. Both kids adore her and can't wait to go to hers.

Trying to think of a negative but we can't really - she doesn't work Fridays, but that suited our schedule.

Overall, we thoroughly recommend her.

Superb childcarer

Carol has looked after my three year old son for over a year, and I can see how she has made, and continues to make her mark on him.

Carol creates a lot of fun activities for kids under her care so they are stimulated and engaged, but she is also firm, calm and encouraging at the same time which in my opinion is a well balanced approach to nurturing children. My son who is naturally reserved has opened up since she started looking after him, always making him feel welcomed and being kept in mind. He looks forward to seeing her and his friends on the days he is cared for by her, and misses them when he is not there.

I have been incredibly forutnate that Carol lives a few doors away on the same street. I have had several experiences with other childcarers and I daresay that she is one of the very few whom I would strongly recommend.

The best there is for your child.

Carol has looked after our son for many years (he is now 9). He loves her and her family, and treats her home like his own. Under Carol's expert and loving care he has always felt safe, loved, and been extremely well looked after. And had lots of fun!

Carol is very conscientious, super organised and extremely knowledgeable. She has a natural gift with children of all ages, which means they settle easily, find a good routine and are very happy under her care. I trust her completely with our beloved son and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

In my opinion, she is the best there is.

Like a member of our family

Carol looked after both of my sons, the eldest from 8 months until he was three years old and the youngest from 10 months until we moved overseas. I cannot recommend her highly enough, I saw my children thrive under her care, the variety and thought that went into the activities she did with them on a daily basis was amazing. They loved being with her and developed emotionally, physically and educationally. Carol offers a safe, caring and homely environment and I would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone who is looking for a childminder. In my opinion would you would struggle to find anyone better.

Excellent care

I can highly recommend Carol as a childminder. My younger child (aged 1) is with her 3 days a week, and is very happy. She enjoys the wide range of activities Carol does with her, and is clearly really settled and secure in the environment Carol provides. My older child (picked up after school) is also really happy there, and I'm particularly impressed with how calm the environment is, even when there are a few children around. Finally, carol provides lovely touches - eg a calendar at Christmas with photos and artwork - so much more personal than when my older child was at nursery. I am very happy all round with the service provided by Carol.

A total star!

I feel incredibly lucky that we found Carol to look after our daughter (now 15 months, started with Carol in Sep 2014) - she is an absolutely brilliant childminder and I have absolute trust that when my daughter is with her she is in a caring, fun and safe environment.

The most important thing about Carol is that she is great with kids - very warm, and fun but firm when she needs to be. Her setting feels very much like a home from home which makes a great base for the children, but they also go out each day to do lots of activities at children centres, libraries etc. Carol is also super-organised and pays lots of attention to details, making sure she's always up to date with the latest in childcare policy and practice. She puts a huge amount of effort into the beautiful albums she makes for each child which we see at the end of every term, a really lovely way of feeling we're in touch with what our daughter does when she is with her.

I wholeheartedly recommend Carol as an extremely professional and wonderfully affectionate childminder.
