Happy boy, so happy mum!

My little boy went to Heather’s full time since he was 1 right up to school age. He was so happy there, I didn’t want to move him to pre-school. He was lucky enough to develop a strong bond with Heather’s granddaughter. Throughout his time there, all of the children Henry interacted with were lovely.

It’s always felt like a second home and I was lucky enough that my eldest was able to join during the half terms and summer holidays. They used to be so excited to be able to go together.

They fondly tell me about the farm visits and soft play sessions and the weekly toddler groups. Heather will buy new toys to keep their interest and Henry loved the tuff tray play.

Henry has breezed into reception and I think being in a smaller environment, gave him a chance to be more prepared. He knew his alphabet and numbers and name recognition before school started, and most importantly knew how to interact nicely with other children.

I’ve already recommended Heather to a friend 😁

1st class childminder - highly recommend

Heather has been fantastic with our son who has been in her care from 10 months old to 2.5 years. Only leaving due to a change in our circumstances otherwise we would have kept him with Heather until school.

Heather provides a safe and happy environment and we have trusted her from day one due to all her experience with young ones. Heather is a trusted source of advice for us on all things parenting and has helped us through the various baby/toddler phases.

The children go on lots of fun outings to different parks, activities and groups, getting plenty of exercise and fresh air. Our son always sleeps well after.
The children are all taught to play nicely and be caring towards each other, so they develop nice friendships and are like a little family unit.
Our son has come on leaps and bounds with his language, has learnt to count and to recite the alphabet amongst many other skills, due to the individual attention Heather gives.

Heather has been amazingly reliable even through the covid pandemic - we would have been lost without her!

We can’t recommend Heather highly enough for anyone looking for a safe, and happy environment in a home setting.

The best place I could have hoped for.

My daughter started with Heather when she was 1 and stayed with Heather until she was nearly 4.

Heather is a loving and kind person and my daughter trusted her instantly. Even at our first meeting she was happy and comfortable to be held by Heather. That was he moment I knew that Heather is the best choice.

Together with Heather we have achieved milestone in growth and development. Heather kept me informed of everything that Erica have achieved each day. we had a little diary going back and forth as well as messaging me about Erica's day.

Erica loved going to the playgroups with Heather, having Halloween, Christmas or Easter parties and walks and parks.

Heather helped us with keeping food diary when we were going through some tummy problems and accommodated any changes in her diet in informing me what she ate from her pack lunch each day.

My daughter was never sad or unhappy to be with Heather; I can say the absolute opposite she could not wait to go and even on holidays was asking when she would see Heather again.

Over all Heather was the best person to take care of my daughter and for us. Heather understood my daughter and made sure she was able to bloom into a little person she is now.

Heather is a part of our family and will never be forgotten to what she has given us.

A second home for my daughter

Heather had my daughter, from 8 months until she was 3.5 years, the only reason she left was because Heather lived near my work, but now I work from home. I couldn’t have wished for more from a childminder. As a parent handing over my 8 month old, Heather made the whole process easy, she accommodated all my needs and I knew my daughter was in great hands. Also as a first time single mum I always valued Heather’s advice on things like potty training, tantrums, picky eating.

My daughter loved her time with Heather's and always got excited to go, she really misses not going now she is at pre-school. She developed so much so quickly and was given the tools which have helped her at pre-school now – manners, doing things for herself etc. I loved that Heather takes the kids out most days, my daughter had so much fun on the various outings.

I don’t hesitate in recommending Heather. She is incredibly kind, caring and loving to the kids and she makes them feel like part of her family. A huge thank you Heather.

Childminder you can only wish for

My daughter has been with Heather for 3 years now. Heather has been absolutely fantastic with her and to us as a family since day one. She cares a lot about children in her care and we always felt like she was part of our family, someone who knew our daughter very well, could support during different developmental stages and be relied on whenever needed. Heather is doing what she is absolutely best at - children in her care are always very well looked after, very well behaved and atmosphere is always nurturing and friendly. Our daughter was taught many things by Heather, so as parents we had an easy life during these years. Important to mention that children are very tidy in the end of each day when you pick them up - as a mother i can't do that myself, so no idea how Heather does that :)
My daughter loves Heather's family and you can tell she feels very loved there as well. Once settled there wasn't a day she wouldn't want to go to Heather.
We always loved the fact that Heather takes children to different groups and does all sort of activities on different days, at the same time providing very homely environment at her home on a daily basis.
As we speak a different language in the family our daughter struggled with growing up in a bilingual environment, however Heather has supported us a lot with this and we are now confident that our daughter won't have any issues with the language once she starts Reception this September.
Choosing Heather you can be absolutely sure that your baby will be very well looked after and loved. Unfortunately we are relocating due to work requirements and cannot put our second daughter in Heather's care, but we hope to be back with her upon our return, as she is absolutely fantastic.
