About Me
I have many years of childcare experience including twins and premature babies. I provide a caring and fun learning environment in a home setting. I take children on regular trips to parks, drop-ins, toddler groups, libraries, swimming and cinema. I speak fluent Portuguese, Spanish and a little French. I have Paediatric first aid, food and hygiene. I provide home made food and weekly menus. I stay up to date on all required childminder training.
I accept childcare voucher and tax free childcare.
I recently moved from Kingston upon Thames to Lancing West Sussex .
I am keen to do a nanny job instead of childminding . I am also happy to do a doula job . I do have great references from previous families. That I will be able to provide.

Filipa is excellen and we would highly recommend Her to any family. She became a full time Nanny for our 6 months old Boy and stayed with us till he was ready to join nursery. We could not be more lucky in finding her, as she very quickly became a part of our family. Her dedication, knowledge and care is purely priceless. Filipa has got a great experience working with children and is very passionate about her profession. Our Boy adored spending time with Her.

Filipa was my children's childminder in New Malden Surrey for the past five years until she moved to Lancing, looking after them both at least four full days a week from the time they turned one. She gave my children a fantastic start in life, nurturing them in a home-from-home environment. They were constantly making things and before Covid were always out and about on trips and attending group activities. Filipa is an excellent cook and introduced them to a varied diet as well as toilet training them. She instils discipline and good sleep habits. My children are extremely sociable, polite and now both thriving in school and nursery and that is largely down to Filipa. We love and miss her.

Filipa has looked after my 18 month old for about 6 months now & sometimes my older child after school. She has been really patient with my toddler, especially at the beginning when she was only going for 1 day a week & took a little while longer to settle. She was happy to keep to the routine we have at home for example with sleeps. Filipa has a very calm & warm manner. The children all appear relaxed & happy with her. She organises a variety of activities for them & they have lovely food cooked for them too!

Filipa has been looking after my daughter for the past 3 years (since she was 3 years old) and I can't praise her enough for the care, love and attention she has given her. She has always different activities planned for the children (e.g. going to libraries, to the park, to children's centres, to the swimming pool, etc.) which has shown to be excellent for the development of the children. She is always encouraging children to be independent, caring and to help each other and my daughter has developed into a loving, polite and motivated girl.
Unfortunately Filipa had to move house and we will have to leave her which has been very sad indeed. She is a very trustworthy, experienced and friendly person and we will be keeping in touch.
We would highly recommend her services to any new prospective parents looking for childcare for their children.
