Our daughter went to Pav's childcare setting from 11 months old up until school age. She had an amazing time taking part in a wide range of enrichment activities (learning outdoors, growing sunflowers from seeds, looking after catapillars as they turned into butterflies, arts and crafts, drawing, baking, reading and going on trips to museums - the list is endless). Pav's planning and attention to detail is a real strength of her practice and she was always mindful of how the learning opportunities she offered linked to the early years framework. Her kind and caring nature together with her small setting helped to turn our initially nervous toddler into a confident school ready child. I would recommend Pav to any of my friends without hesitation.
Michelle now looks after both of our children Maisie and Finn. I cannot explain the feeling of watching your children chant in sheer joy and excitement every morning when they are nearly at “Shells” house. My husband and I are both educators and without Michelle and her wonderful family, we would never be able to show up in the way we do in our work. She makes everything so easy and is so flexible and understanding of parents evenings and our schedules sometimes changing due to work commitments.
Both Finn and Maisie have made such wonderful progress in their confidence, their reading and learning and that is all down to Michelle and her experience as a highly skilled childminder and primary school teacher. Every day they leave with crafts and are so proud of what they have created.
Every week Finn goes to toddler groups, soft play and the daily pictures and the look of utter happiness makes the mum guilt of being at work so much easier, as I know he is being treated like one of Michelle’s own children.
Michelle has high expectations for all children in respecting each-other, manners and kindness and that is so important to me.
Michelle has individual parent WhatsApp groups for updates and photos and a parents’ WhatsApp group where we share important information for dates and school info. Communication on all levels is excellent.
I fear the day Michelle stops childminding, because we honestly don’t know what we would do without her! She is one in a million!!
We have been using Michelle as our childminder for a year now, since our little boy was one, and we couldn’t be happier.
Our son’s confidence has grown so much since being with Michelle, and it’s clear how much he enjoys his time with her. She takes the children on fun trips to toddler groups and soft play, which he absolutely loves. The updates, photos, and videos she sends show just how much fun they all have, which is so reassuring.
One of the things we love most is how Michelle encourages interaction among the children from the moment they arrive. It’s lovely to see them playing and socialising together, and it’s clear she fosters a warm, inclusive environment.
From day one, Michelle has been also incredibly flexible and accommodating, making the whole process so easy for us as parents. Even going the extra mile with pickups and drop offs during the birth of our second son!
Michelle herself is so kind, personable, and approachable—she’s incredibly easy to talk to, and we feel completely at ease knowing she is caring for the most important thing in our lives. We trust her so much that we have no hesitation in also placing our second son in her care when he turns one later this year.
We couldn’t recommend Michelle more highly!
Tracy has looked after my son Max since he was a little over 1 years old. She is absolutely brilliant with kids, my little one totally adores her and is so happy every time I drop him off and pick him up. She is calm, totally professional and with a great sense of fun and humour. Nothing phases Tracy, and it has been such a source of joy to know that my youngest child is in such a lovely, warm and homely setting being looked after by someone so kind and caring. She's extremely reliable and I trust her utterly. Max has thrived in her care, and grown in confidence so much, he is such a happy little character and I'm absolutely sure that has a lot to do with Tracy!
Ashton has babysat for us (initially my now 2.5 year old but now also my 13 month old) many times now over the past 2 years.
Ashton is always professional, and has built a great relationship with the children. She is really engaging with them and gives me a complete handover when we return. Ashton does not hesitate to ask questions if she is unsure and I have always felt that my children are in safe hands when in her care.
Her communication is great and being hesitant to leave my children with anyone initially (though with no family/friends close by after relocating didn't have much choice) it has been a relief to have found her!

Been with GMB for a few months now and she has been nothing but amazing to our little girl. She is very accomodating and also ensures she sends an update which is very reassuring for me. My little girl loves going to her and have seen a lot of development in her confidence. Would recommend her to anyone.
Fran has looked after our 2 and 5 year old for about a year now. She has developed a close relationship with both boys and they look forward to ‘Fran day’ every Monday. She keeps the boys busy taking them to soft play, swimming and to the park. I would happily recommend Fran to anyone looking for a nanny in Cardiff
Rosie looks after my 3 year old son, Me and my partner couldn't ask for a better childminder. Rosie is excellent at her job, my son always has positive stories to tell me after his time with Rosie. she's creates so much hands on arts and crafts for the kids to enjoy and learn with. Rosie as a person is very polite and kind and genuinely a lovely person. I'm so happy with how my son is progressing under her care and would highly recommend Rosie for childminding.
My little girl has been with Jodie for 3.6 years and my little boy for the last 3 months. I cannot tell you how grateful I am that we found Jodie, she is just simply wonderful. The love, care and dedication she shows to our children is incredible, she always engages them in fun activities and is dedicated to supporting them make progress in all areas of their development.
Marina was my daughter’s teacher at preschool. She also helped me with occasional babysitting as I really couldn’t trust anybody else.
The activities she organises are both educational and fun.
She really does her best, I could see all the kids loved her. They would run towards her and hug her.
I can’t be grateful enough for everything she did for my daughter. She grew up into such a well mannered, polite and kind little girl. Not only she learnt to read and count, but she also learnt to do the house chores. It was so fun to see her folding clothes, cleaning the table, taking care of plants, and so much more.
Unfortunately, Marina moved too far from us and we can’t get help from her anymore.
But I would definitely recommend her to any parent who needs peace of mind.
We had booked Lyndsey to babysit in March but had an emergency childcare difficulty today. I messaged Lyndsey last night and she was wonderful. She came early to get to know my two children. They warmed to her immediately. I can't begin to tell you how relieved and grateful we are. Lyndsey provided references, DBS certificates, First Aid and ID. She was confident, professional, punctual and made sure we gave her all the necessary details of the childrens needs and routines. We are now feeling excited to have someone who can babysit and also help out as we don't have any family local to us.
I cannot recommend Liz highly enough if you are looking for a sleep trainer.
My second baby (5 months old) was waking up every 1-2hrs and we had fallen into the wake/feed/sleep cycle with me nursing him being the only thing that could get him back to sleep. I was absolutely exhausted and completely at a loss of how we could change this behaviour as he wasn't “growing out of it” like everyone said he would. Liz came for 3 nights and changed our lives! Liz put us at complete ease the moment she arrived as she explained how it would all work - this really helped me set aside any anxieties I had, and I could not be happier that we went ahead with everything. Our baby was sleeping through the night by night 3 without any feeds or intervening at all - I honestly couldn’t believe it. This has helped not only me regain my sanity (sleep deprivation is brutal!), but also helped our whole family. Thank you Liz!
Lisa is very experienced with small babies. She is kind caring and very devoted to her work

Zeb and Beri are exceptional practitioners, each bringing their own unique qualities to the nursery. Both have a nurturing, warm approach that makes the children feel truly cared for, as if they were their own. Since my daughter started attending, I’ve seen a remarkable increase in her confidence and language development at home. Initially, she struggled with separating from me, but with the support of Zeb and Beri, she was able to form a special bond with them, which made transitions much smoother. I would often feel anxious when leaving, but Zeb always knew exactly how to reassure me—she’d keep me updated on how E was settling, which was a huge comfort.
Now, E walks into the nursery with such joy, and it’s incredibly reassuring to see.
For me, open communication is essential, and Zeb and Beri have been amazing in this regard. There’s always complete transparency and honesty between us, and I never feel like I can't voice my thoughts when advocating for my daughter.
The activities they plan are both exciting and enriching, and I know E is having a wonderful time under their care. They’ve created a structured, routine environment that respects the boundaries I’ve set for her.
The way Zeb and Beri design engaging, dynamic sessions has helped E challenge herself in ways I wouldn’t have been able to, enabling her to grow into the confident child she is today.
We have been incredibly happy with the care Suvi has provided for our son since he started with her at around 20 months old. He had previously been in a nursery setting where he didn’t thrive, but with Suvi, he has flourished. Her nurturing, structured, and play-based approach has been a perfect fit for him.
Suvi provides a fantastic balance of activities, ensuring the children spend lots of time outdoors whenever possible. From trips to Dean City Farm and local parks like Morden Hall Park, where they explore nature, to soft play and playgroups on rainy days, she keeps the days engaging and stimulating. At home, she sets up a variety of activities that encourage skills like fine motor development, which has been wonderful for our son.
Her setting is warm, safe, and well-equipped, and she creates a welcoming environment where the children feel comfortable and happy. She is also great at communicating with parents, providing regular photos and updates throughout the day of how he's getting on and what they're up to.
We have seen such positive growth in our son since he started with Suvi, and we feel so lucky to have found her. While he will be moving on to a school nursery in the autumn, we are delighted that our daughter will be joining her then. We have no doubt she will receive the same excellent care and experience the same warmth and fun that our son has.
We wholeheartedly recommend Suvi to any parent looking for a caring, reliable, and engaging childminder!

Sameera Little Stars is an excellent childmind and is highly recommended. We had a great experience. Our little one learned a lot at this place. They provide daily updates of the activities our child was involved in and we were satisfied that our child was in a safe place. We both as working parents had little time for our child but Sameera Little Stars filled that void and the little one was always happy to go there. Its a fun and learning environment. They have excellent communication and are also very accommodating.
