Sarah is like a home away from home with a welcoming set up, with playroom and wonderful outdoor play area for the children. We love that our son gets to experience different playgroups and days out each week. Sarah always has clear learning objectives and keeps us up to date on current topics. Our son has enjoyed his time with Sarah so much that we are sending his little sister this September. We are certain she will thrive in this setting like her brother.
I have always had good rapport with my babysitters and nannies. You opted to be an exception. So let me put things in perspective and refresh your memory whilst protecting discerning mothers/carers with children/wards with 1 or more allergies:
Meeting: We met weekend to agree dates and rates and ID check, I transferred £10 as part of storing a new payee bank details.
You sent a message about cancellation of an agreed day due to unforeseen work circumstances and offered another day..told you sorted. And clarified you are happy with days left. You also changed the rate but I said since we were happy with you, we would accept your new rate..frankly, I had no time to arrange another meeting.
1st day of work: You did not meet me as I left early for work. Called from work greeted you and explained I am phone free but incase of an emergency can also call my spouse. Gave number. At end of day, once phone back in possession, paid £80 to balance the earlier £10 per day. You found it better to text my husband asking him to tell his spouse about the agreed rate. He sent me the message. When I called, you brushed it aside as you forgot I had transferred £10 earlier. Then I asked why you did not just tell me than texting another. I gave you his number to call if emergency.
Day 2:
Explained we have board games as I informed you when we first met, when you were focused on gawking over decor in house and how the children should feel privileged and how lucky they were ( was never sure why that was relevant..Only recently did the kids tell me it was a daily occurrence!! As if size of one's house is proportionate to joy..it is not!!!)
You may not be familiar with coeliac but I explained on first meeting and informed you I will always do their lunches myself, they had stuff to do just needed an adult to be with them, told you we had board games. You could have told me then you were going to bring yours into home.
Wheat sensitivity is real. So when I was told you brought in a game and child with alergy was playing, I panicked. I explained you did not have to bring in games. I then advised wiping them with alcohol wipes to be safe cos with Coeliac, the most important thing is cross- contamination. My voice was normal, just feedback. You really should be open to take feedback particularly when health is concerned. How you hear/listen matters.
But I paid you once I got out of work that day as reflex. Spouse paid you also. You texted him abt double payment. He then let me know.
Day 3: Was in the car driving out when you were walking in, we waved at each other as spouse at home, did not need to get out of car as was running late. Which other greeting did you want or need ???
Came back home and was wondering why home in disarray and then kitchen tops. You have never left my home 'tidier' as you meet it tidied up and freshbto go for the kids each morning. By default I wipe down whole counter and tables at night before food prep and I noted stains that were not off the lunches I packed for kids daily; older child apologised and said she tried to clean as best as she could but was from your lunch..not sure what you had but seemed to leak. Did that contain egg, wheat ?etc . But I wiped down and messaged you about need to tidy or help kids do so from 5PM and need to clean off your meal. I did not think I needed to tell you that. You brushed it off with 'Apologies if not up to standard"..another response which seemed odd.
Day 4..last day: Greeted you, gave some antihistamines to younger one as from night before, eyes were a bit off..that's how fast she reacts and left for work as no rash and other signs. Came back to sad kids apologising cause they had no response when you mentioned to them about the tidiness ending with "your mother was quite rude''... they said they just got on with what they were doing. That statement is what you refer to us as asking kids...
It is sad you feel telling children that mum is rude tantamounts to positive environment???
The children you described as lovely and smart, are a product of a loving environment with different babysitters who have remained friends and have become family over the years. That was why when you cancelled one of days, I told you sorted. One of my regulars just snatched that day up with joy.
Why would you 'almost everyday reiterate to kids how priviledged they were..the size of a house does not make a child'...is there some inner wounds there?
You lied blatantly in your reply making me wonder how safe children are emotionally with you?
My children were stunned and as you have noted how well behaved they are( definitely not raised by you)..had no comeback phrases for you than flagging it up once I set foot at home.
To guard your income and 5-star review so tediously with lies is frankly disappointing because I am still not certain you even understand the health risk posed by bringing things touched by different people into another's home with an at risk child? As you described it as 'simple' board game.
And you warn people not to work with me..well, I have my babysitters most from childcare.co.uk who were just not available and they are most appalled at what you wrote, so thanks for highlighting your desperation.
I have no regrets highlighting these facts cause you are not the parent that will be sitting in A&E.
So I wonder, will you learn from feedback or go back defending the indefensible.
I gave you an objective 3 stars...were you expecting different???
Michelle has been such a blessing to our family! She watches my 2 year old daughter and I honestly couldn’t ask for a more caring, hands-on babysitter. She’s incredibly engaging and always keeps my daughter active—whether they’re out exploring, playing games, or spending time with Michelle’s two adorable puppies (who my daughter absolutely adores!).
It’s clear Michelle genuinely cares and goes the extra mile to make every day special. I always feel at ease knowing my daughter is in such good hands!x

Natasha has had all three of my boys and my nephew - that in itself says it all. She is brilliant! From the very first time of meeting her she made me feel at ease and made the process smooth. My boys have all enjoyed being at 'Tasha's' and speak fondly of her, even my eldest who moved onto school 4 years ago. Her impact on their personal development, social interactions and academic progress has been exceptional, preparing them well for their transition to school. My son joined the school nursery already knowing his alphabet and how to answer simple sums.
Natasha provides a home from home environment where the children feel safe and are welcomed by her family. Children in Natasha's care are provided with plenty of creative and enriching opportunities which they absolutely love. Due to her care, patience and support I have always felt confident that my children were in the right setting.
I am yet to find another childminder as good as Natasha and any child she cares for is very lucky.
My daughter has been in Keeley’s care for the past 1.5 years - starting in full time care and now doing afterschool pickup and wraparound care. She has been absolutely amazing - caring, attentive, and full of warmth. We all know how unpredictable life can be, this is why we love how flexible she can be which has really helped us working parents out a lot. Keeley goes above and beyond every day, creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where my daughter has grown and learnt so much. It’s clear how much love and dedication she puts into her work, and most importantly - my daughter absolutely adores her!
Absolutely amazing baby sitter , looked after.my son so well never had any issues , always handles him so well and also my child is so so happy with her more than he is at home , she knows how to calm him down if he's upset truth be told he never has been , so professional and gave my son a good routine aswell . Highly reccomened
Ally has been looking after my son (4 years old) since September 2024. Although not formally diagnosed he has additional needs that require a lot of time and patience. Ally has always shown a strong ability to manage this through her care. My son loves going to Ally's house, there is always great food for him and he has become much more adventurous with his eating. There are so many lovely toys to play with and a beautiful garden for the children to spend time in. Ally is a very kind, understanding, and professional and I trust her completely in taking care of my child.
If you need a childminder in the Wallington area, I would highly recommend Ally.
Sue has been my daughter's childminder since she was 4 months old (she is now 8!). I cannot recommend her highly enough. Sue has gone above and beyond supporting me with my childcare needs. My daughter has a very close bond with Sue and has recently been referring to her as Aunty Sue! She provides outstanding care and enriching activities for all of the children in her care. I trust her implicitly and has over the years become a very good friend and confidant. Quite frankly...we would be lost without her.
I’ve known Fatima for years as my daughter's sitter. She has always been dependable, loving, and kind. Her natural ability to connect with kids, along with her caring nature, makes her the perfect choice for any family. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable kind babysitter!
We feel beyond blessed to have found Fatima! From the very first day, she connected with my baby boy in such a loving and gentle way that it instantly put us at ease. Her warm presence, patience, and nurturing personality make her truly one of a kind.
Honestly my little one lights up when he sees her, and it's clear how much love and care she gives. She's attentive, responsible, and always goes the extra mile — from reading his favorite stories for the hundredth time to singing lullabies that put him to sleep like magic.
Not only is she incredibly reliable, but she also keeps us updated with the cutest photos, videos and thoughtful messages throughout the day. Knowing our son is safe, happy, and loved when he's with her means everything to us.
Trust me I couldn’t imagine anyone better. If you’re lucky enough to have Fatima's care for your child, consider your little one in the best hands possible. Thank you Fatima for being such a beautiful part of our family’s journey!
I came across Harpreet back in 2022 and I remember feeling nothing short of amazed about her setting once I had visited, so I had to send my son there. With her montessori background and childcare training she help my son to develop into a lovely kind boy. He is excelling at school and I truly believe this is because of the foundations set by Harpreet and her team. This is exactly why I had to send my daughter there too so that she can receive the same love and care that Harpreet's setting provides. I can say that my daughter is also doing really well and has flourished tremendously since starting at Harpreet's setting. The range of activities such as yoga, mindfulness , dancing and learning activities help to create beautiful young individuals. Thank you guys for all your hard work.
We have used Jane as our childminder since August 2023 when she started to take care of my daughter at 5 months old. She has looked after my daughter for two years, and has also provided after school care for my eldest daughter since September. Jane has been a wonderful childminder. She is caring and attentive, and instinctively knows what my child needs. Under her care, my children have thrived, developing really well and becoming confident. They are always happy to go to childcare, and even after breaks are really happy to see Jane again. The childcare sessions are really varied, with a great mix of indoor, outdoor and messy play. The food and snacks provided are second to none, and my daughters have always really enjoyed them with empty plates shown!
Jane is a knowledgeable, skilled practitioner and brilliant communicator, and always keeps us updated on our daughters' progress. She is really flexible, and when we have needed an earlier start or later finish Jane has been really accommodating. We are moving on due to a change in circumstances, and they will really miss their time at JP Childcare.

We are a family of three with a toddler son and as we have no family around we very much looked for someone who could become a part of our family. Rita has done that and more. She is looking after our baby like he is her own and I couldn’t be more grateful for everything she does for our family. Our son loves her, always happy and have developed so much since Rita started with us. Crafts and developmental plays are part of our daily routine, she prepares lovely food for us all and is always keeping our home clean and tidy. I can always count on her in an emergency, she really is like family to us. We only need her for the mornings and if I could sign her up full time I would. We recommend her very highly to anyone who needs help in the afternoons and always happy to chat about our experience with Rita. If you need a second mum for your little one, you sure found it.

My 15th month old son has been going to Diana’s house a couple days a week 8am - 5pm since the start of the year and he adores her! Her house is clean, cosy and full of toys and activities for the children. My son especially loves playing in her garden and being with other small children.
I have met her other family members during pick up and my son is often snuggled with her young daughter. He is very comfortable at her house.
Diana provides a lot of stability for my son; she is always helping him to learn and cooking him new dishes to try.
I especially like how affectionate and warm she is towards him. It didn’t take long at all before he was climbing into her arms and seeking her out for comfort. I can see she cares a lot for the children she is responsible for.
Diana sends me pictures every day they are together and I see how much fun they have in places like Mote Park & Kent life.
My son often comes home with paintings and things they have made for me which is a really nice gesture.
I feel really fortunate to have secured a space with Diana and I trust her fully to care for my son.

My son has been attending since January and he absolutely loves Laura. She is fantastic with the children and I’m happy leaving my 2 year old with her knowing that it’s like leaving him with family. I would recommend her in a heartbeat if you want your child to enjoy their childcare setting and thrive.

Nouzha has been an absolute blessing for our family. From day one, they welcomed our little one with so much love, care, and kindness. It’s clear how much she truly cares about the children she looks after. Every day is filled with fun, learning, and laughter—and we always feel at ease knowing our child is in such warm, nurturing hands.
We are so grateful for everything Nouzha does. Highly, highly recommended 👌
Our daughter has been with Sarina nearly 2 years now, and she really enjoys going to her setting every day. Sarina provides wide rage of activities and really cares for each child's development. Her own children are so lovely too and it is like having the second home for our daughter. We couldn't be happier!
