Gina has been childminding my son Max (2 years) since March 2024. She looks after him for 3 days each week.
I have been extremely happy with the care Max has received, and the great progress he has made whilst in Gina’s care. Gina’s home setting is always welcoming, clean and well organised and Max has great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care. Beyond all this though, it is Gina’s warm and friendly but no nonsense approach which sets her apart from other childminders. You spend time in a playgroup Gina is the only one who is kneeling down at the child's level, engaging with the children in her care and encouraging them.
She provides a wide, fun range of activities, groups, day trips including plenty of outdoor exercise. I know Max has recently enjoyed drawing and sticking, reading and puzzles as well as outings to the park, trips to feed the ducks and walks. I love receiving decorated cards and things Max has made. She creates a fun learning environment, ensuring his EYFS framework is followed and on track: His words and practical skills have excelled with Gina's contribution to his care and development.
Gina is a great communicator and has no trouble in gaining Max’s confidence and therefore encouraging good behavior and kindness and compassion to others, both skills which are important to us at home. When Max is hurt or feeling under the weather I know that he feels happy to be comforted by her and I am confident that she can administer either first aid or medication following all the correct procedures and completing the necessary records to ensure his health and safety.
Gina provides delicious home cooked meals and healthy snacks. Gina gives regular updates, from this I have a complete picture of his whole day including what he has eaten, how long he has slept and all his activities. This helps me to feel involved with his care and that I can talk to him about his day. I really feel like she works in partnership with parents.
All in all I am thoroughly happy with the level of care Max receives and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping him develop into a confident and self assured little boy. We are sad to be leaving London and Gina, otherwise she would be in our boy's life as long as possible.
Gina's has created a safe and engaging environment for children. She is reliable and patient and children are made to feel like part of her family; I would absolutely recommend Gina as a wonderful childminder which any family would be so lucky to have take care of their little one.

Kellycare has been the ideal early years setting for our daughter - the best we could have hoped for. It was recommended to us by a local family and we can see why most of her families come to her by word-of-mouth. It was by far the nicest childminder setting we saw - and we visited a lot!
Kelly's home setting is such a beautiful space, with a large, well laid-out playroom ideal for the children's learning and play and very well equipped. There is a homely kitchen for the children's meals and both spaces lead out to the garden where there are outdoor play resources and a climbing frame. It’s like a little nursery, but with the close relationships and consistency of carers that comes with a childminder – this has been the best of both worlds for us. Kelly formed such a caring, supportive relationship with our daughter as did her wonderful assistant who is also brilliant with the children. Our daughter's had lots of individual attention and it's obvious she's flourished because of it - in her learning and development but also in growing into being a happy, confident child who looks forward each day to coming to Kellycare and comes home full of happy stories each day. She's also benefitted from playing daily with slightly older toddlers and we feel this has boosted her learning.
Our daughter has learned a lot in her time with Kelly - Kelly does not simply provide care but is also an experienced early years educator and integrates learning into the play, activities and outings the children go on. The activities provided clearly have an impact on her as she comes home being able to do things we wouldn’t have thought to introduce to her yet, eg. identifying letters in her name and counting to large numbers. We have really appreciated the exciting outings you have taken the children on, giving our daughter lots of new experiences and fun with the other children.
Kelly has always communicated well with us as parents, giving us daily updates at pick-up and sending through ad-hoc updates and photos through WhatsApp during the day. We also receive monthly home learning packs that outline our daughter's achieved milestones and next steps. Kelly has always been flexible with us around adding extra childcare days, switching days etc, and this has been really helpful for us as working parents.
Kelly has expertly prepared our daughter for joining her big brother at school in the autumn. We feel very lucky to have been recommended Kellycare and are very happy that our daughter gets to spend her days away from us with you. Our daughter will definitely be coming back to you in the school holidays. Thank you for taking such good care of her!
Sinead has been really wonderful with our little girl Sula May who has Down Syndrome. Sinead is full of energy and enthusiasm and takes Sula May out to a singing group and to the park which she loves. Sinead is very caring, considerate and trustworthy and also flexible. We feel very lucky to have found her!

Sanaa helped me with my 2 boys aged 2 and 5 yes old, as well as my newborn little girl during my postpartum phase. She is a beautiful person inside and out, very considerate and my children were instantly comfortable with her. She is adaptable and eased into a rhythm and fitted into our home so well. She helped me with many things around the house, always ready to get things done and it was invaluable to have her during this time when I was not able to do much myself. She has become a good friend to me and I know she will be amazing with any family she becomes a part of.

Anita has been amazing with my son! He always comes home happy. I'm very impressed with the team that look after my son! From taking him and picking him up after school, to taking him for occasional trips to the Ice Cream parlours, he enjoys being at Kids Glo.
The facility is always kept clean and there are numerous activities that my son enjoys doing after school like gardening and arts and craft are amongst his favourite things to do there. In his own review he said and quote "I rate her 5 stars!"
As a healthcare professional, the hours flexibility they provide are very important. She has given me a sense of reassurance and ease of mind leaving my son in her care, which is priceless for any parent.

Nafisa has picked up my sons from school since they were in Year 1, they are now in Year 7. Both of my boys are autistic and she was able to be patient with them and learned what they enjoyed and how to effectively communicate with them. She also learned their different food preferences and ensured there were different options for them. She understood when they had a difficult day in school and knew how to support them throughout the evening until I arrived. Her support with them was exceptional, so much so that when I had my daughter from the age of 1 she has been with Nafisa full time.
My daughter absolutely loves her! The settling in period was seamless and Nafisa has worked in partnership with my family ever since to ensure my daughter’s developmental needs are met. They go to the library, play groups, the park and various trips often. At home, they do water play, sand play, interactive activities and lots of learning. My daughter always comes home telling me something new she has learned. My daughter is going to miss her so much when she starts school in September!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Akba. She is warm, caring and endlessly kind, and treats the children in her care as if they were part of her own family. Our child has truly flourished with her – not only feeling safe and loved, but also learning and developing every day.
Akba goes above and beyond, taking the children on regular outings and to local playgroups, giving them the chance to explore and interact with others. She cooks nutritious, home-made meals and supports each child’s learning through play and gentle encouragement. Her flexibility has also been a huge help to us as a working family.
We couldn’t recommend Akba more highly – she is a real gem.
Sharney is a brilliant childminder! She’s attentive, friendly, and always keeps the kids busy with fun and creative activities. My son has been in her care since March this year and has come on leaps and bounds in that time. I really appreciate the regular updates and photos she sends throughout the day. My child always enjoys the warm and healthy lunches that Sharney provides, his eating habits have much improved in the time he has spent in Sharney’s care. He is learning so much with her support. I’m really happy with the care Sharney provides, I know he is safe and being very well looked after!

My son has been with Zoe for almost a year now, and he absolutely loves it. He doesn’t even look back when we drop him off, which says a lot and gives us complete peace of mind. Zoe was incredibly reassuring when he first started, and the little updates we get throughout the day always let us know he’s happy and settled.
Communication is always clear and helpful, and when he’s been a bit cheeky, Zoe is great at working with us to support his behaviour in a positive, consistent way.
He’s out and about every day, going to different groups and activities, which has helped him grow in confidence, learn to share, and start building lovely little friendships, something we’ve really noticed at home too.
Overall, we’re really happy with the care Zoe provides and appreciate the kind, welcoming environment she creates.
Sharon is kind, caring, and nurturing. My son looks forward to spending time at her house, playing games, socialising with other children and enjoys playing in the garden. It’s clear that he feels happy and comfortable in her care, and as a parent, that is most important to me. I feel at ease knowing he is safe and well looked when he’s with her. Communication is always great, Sharon is always quick to respond and when he has been unwell she has contacted me straight away. I appreciate how thorough she is with paperwork and her safeguarding procedures, and this puts me at ease when leaving him in her care.
Overall a great childminder, I Couldn’t ask for more!
SJ is an absolute gem of a childminder.
She continually goes above and beyond to assist us with looking after our 2 younger children aged 3 and 9, whether it's having our daughter last minute or work delays causing us needed extra time here and there to collecting them from our home in special circumstances.
Our son has been with SJ for over 2 years and goes full time Monday to Friday, our daughter attends ad-hoc around school.
We are always given daily updates with our sons development and on top of this we are currently going through some SEN issues, which SJ has been able to assist with through routes we wouldn't have known about without her.
SJ takes our son out to the parks and farms and other fun venues regularly and he is always bringing us home some lovely craft or baked goods of some kind.
We couldn't be happier with SJ and thoroughly recommend her to anyone looking for a personalised, home from home environment.
Claire is honestly brilliant. Her calming presence and huge wealth of experience could not have been more appreciated during the newborn period following the birth of our daughter. We had Claire as a night nanny over a period of a few weeks and each time she happily answered my many questions and advised on feeding and sleeping (both day and night). Claire gave myself and my husband the support and rest that we needed at such an important stage of our parenting journey, we are so grateful. Would highly recommend Claire to anyone expecting a newborn. She will make you feel like you can do it and support you with all the more challenging parts. Thank you Claire!
Cannot recommend Renuka highly enough! Her warm and nurturing personality means my little boy absolutely adores her. He’s so excited to tell me all about his time when I pick him up. Renuka has a lovely setting, full of educational toys and a super garden for exploring climbing, jumping, running, riding bikes and digging in the giant sand pit. I am so grateful that Renuka was available to take my little boy as it’s not easy to find a childminder that you trust to leave your pride and joy with but she treats them all with such love and kindness and it is apparent that every child there is happy and settled.
I highly recommend Dilshana as a childminder. She has been looking after our 1-year-old daughter for several months, and we’ve had a great experience. From the start, our daughter felt happy and settled with her, which gave us complete peace of mind.
Dilshana is kind, caring, and patient. She creates a warm, safe, and friendly environment where the children feel at home. Our daughter has grown so much in confidence and enjoys her time there, with a good mix of play, learning, and rest.
She always keeps us updated with messages and photos, which we really appreciate. The food she provides is healthy, and her home is clean, organised, and full of toys and fun activities.

Ruby looked after my 3 year old daughter for a couple of hours one evening. It is the first time we have used a Babysitter other than grandparents. Ruby was so professional, knowledgeable with regards child care & children's needs & caring. My 3 year old took to Ruby straight away & felt safe and comfortable with her. Ruby gave myself regular updates during the evening which was so reassuring. I would highly recommend her & would be utilising her babysitting services again.

My 2 year old little girl has been going here since she was around 14 months old and as a first time Mum I was so nervous about sending her to childcare but I can hand on heart say she absolutely loves her days here! When she knows she’s going she will grab her shoes and coat and wait at the door saying “come on Mum let’s go!” so I know she’s excited! She goes in smiling and all the staff are so friendly! They really provide a home from home setting which I love. We’ve received amazing personalised craft pieces on special occasions like Christmas/Mother’s Day etc and my daughter has come on leaps and bounds since going there. You can tell they spend time teaching the children things but also providing a day full of fun activities! Would absolutely recommend Farrah and the girls to anyone who is looking for a fun and caring environment for their child.
My daughter Clementine, absolutely loved going to see Teresa, every time Clementine would come home, she would tell me what she has made, what activity she did and what she had learnt with Teresa. Teresa was always very polite, easy to talk too and would tell you what her plan was for that day. Clementine would come home with lovely arts&craft work that she has made with Teresa. When it comes down to special occasions, Christmas, birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Easter, Teresa always goes that extra mile and does something lovely for the children! Clementine was very sad when we had to start our next chapter of big school because she didn’t want to leave Teresa but luckily enough we now see Teresa everyday on the school run and Clementine gives her the biggest hugs!
If anyone is wanting a childminder for their children, I would highly recommend Teresa! 😌
Julie is an incredible nanny in all areas. We have been so lucky to have her help since our little boy was 7 months old. She is extremely calm, patient , professional and reliable.
She has bundles of experience and it shows in the way she cares for our little boy. He absolutely adores her. His face lights up with joy every time she walks through the door.
She knows just what to do when he is upset and has been helping him reach his milestones through play and support. He has come on leaps and bounds since having Julie in his life!
I feel Julie has not only cared for our little boy but for me as well. Being new to motherhood I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and understanding nanny. She has gone above and beyond on multiple occasions.
We loved having her and Indie (her lovely golden retriever) in our home - they both slotted right in to our family immediately.
All in all we couldn’t recommend Julie enough. We only wish that our personal circumstances would allow for us to keep her with us - snap her up whilst you can!
I'm so glad I found Teresa years ago.
She first looked after my son when he turned 10 months old till he started primary school and he absolutely thrived in her care.
Then she started looking after my daughter from 1 half year old. She's been absolutely amazing, always goes above and beyond!
Through all the struggles we have had with my daughter, Teresa has been there every step of the way and been in my corner helping me fight the battles we had.
My kids have loved going to Teresa.
She provides a homely, loving and fun environment for the for the children.
Her communication is spot on and I've never had to worry about anything.
I highly recommend Teresa to anyone that is looking for a top quality, reliable, friendly and caring childminder in Ruskington.
