Heike was our childminder for our daughter, Ellie, for 4 years and we cannot say how much we valued her. Firstly, her setting is fantastic and Ellie really felt it was home from home. Heike was wonderful for taking the kids out most days on day trips, adventures, and giving them invaluable experiences. I think this hugely contributed to Ellie's development in confidence and trying new things. We were so pleased with Ellies development academically as well, and that's because Heike was always teaching them and giving fun but valuable lessons (again, Ellie has surpassed reception expectatiins because she was well prepared and knowledgeable). I highly recommend Heike as a childminder, and although it's been a whole year since Ellie was in her care, she still asks after Heike and talks about her time with her and her friends there. Heike was a member of our family and we hope every child could be so lucky as ours.

Heike is simply the best childminder we could possibly have wished for for our son James. He was with her 3 years and gained so much from his time in her setting.
Heike puts the children’s needs first and every day is different. The adventures they go on are incredible from the aquarium, museum, aerospace, soft play, theatre trips, forest school. James loved his time with Heike & the other children. The setting is like another family for the children lucky enough to go there.
It is nothing like a sterile nursery setting. Heikes home and garden are all set up with amazing games and activities for the children. They did amazing crafting and made beautiful things to bring home.
Heike always has time to talk with parents about any concerns and is super efficient with communication. She has many years experience and knows exactly what the children need. I felt very confident to leave my son in her expert care.
I’m his final year before school James learnt so much with Heike, supporting him with his writing and also with his independence to prepare for school.
Thank you Heike for all you have done to support our family and James would not be the happy confident boy he is without you.
I could not recommend Heike highly enough, she is truly amazing.

Having placed our child with the usual generic childcare facilities I cant tell you how lucky we were to have found Heike. Suddenly instead of just being another child in a large crowd, our sons need’s and development became front and centre.
It’s worth noting that our child first started with Heike during the pandemic where there were very strict measures in place, but she was still able to ensure the children had full days of fun, learning and exploration, whilst adhering to all government guidelines and safety measures.
Heike's house & garden is literally a dream play centre with everything a child could ever want, not that they spend much time indoors (only when its really raining) as each day has been planned out with key activities and learning opportunities. Whether it’s the museum, zoo, bird sanctuary, soft play, or water park just to name a few. This is every single day. The children just have the best time ever.
There is also a strong focus on learning and development from dressing themselves, to problem solving and beginning to read/write. They are also encouraged to eat healthily and to start valuing their own health.
Every evening you get a text with a brief rundown of what your child did that day along with a number of photos so you always feel comfortable knowing what they have been up to, and its really nice to actually see them in action each day.
As there are only ever a few children at a time, they also build strong bonds with each other and with Heike. It has been a year and we are all still in touch.
There are certainly good childminders out there, but Heike is the gold standard. If you are lucky enough to get a space with her, then you have hit the jackpot, and you can relax about your child’s welfare and development, well until school starts….

My son was with Heike for only 9 weeks over the summer and in that time Heike took him to the aquarium, wildplace, the aviation museum, Slimbridge and many other parks and day trips. Heike is an excellent option if your child enjoys being outdoors!

Heike cared for both my babies and has been in our lives since 2014!
She cared for my daughter Isla from 9 months old until she started school.
Following this we had a son in 2017 and she cared for him until he recently started school too!
Her home set up is phenomenal. She goes above and beyond for the kids to make every day special.
The effort Heike puts into every task, craft, day out, playdate - just exceptional!
My kids both miss her terribly. I'll forever be so grateful for everything Heike has done for our family. She made it so easy for a nervous mum going back to work to feel comfortable with someone else taking care of my kids. She cares so very much about the well being of every child she takes care of.
She is one in a million and I simply cannot recommend her enough.

From the moment we met Heike we knew our 14month old daughter would love and flourish being in her care.
My daughter started with Heike in July 2019 3days per week and loved every minute in her company.
Firstly her home space for the children and garden area is out of this world, so spacious and fun!
Heike takes the children out to adventure parks, play centres and zoos to name a few. My daughter was always out exploring new things every day with Heike which is it what makes Heike stand out from the rest in my opinion. My daughter learned so much in the year she spent in her childcare.
She is so flexible and helped us out a lot in short notice and adapted to any changes we needed due to mine and my partners jobs. She is so warming and loving towards all the children she cares for and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to care for my child.
She is great at communicating every day your child is in her care and shares photos of what your child has been doing.
Heike is one of the most wonderful people you will ever meet and her facility and care is amazing.

My daughter has been going to Heike every Monday for this academic year and has really enjoyed it and grown significantly in confidence during her time there. Heike is very caring, personable and makes sure all the children in her care feel really comfortable. She constantly plays games such as peek a boo to make them smile! They always go out in the mornings; to the zoo, to the wild place; to a park; to a local baby group and sometimes for the whole day, which is wonderful. Her setting is also beautiful with a lovely large area for the children to play as well as a large garden. Heike generally has 2-4 children on any given day so all the children get plenty of individual attention, which is another advantage. I would highly recommend her as a childminder.

Heike
Our son Gabriele attended Heike for 3 years. He had always great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care. Heike provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise and crafts of any kind. She offers a positive and happy environment helping children to develop independence, confidence and good discipline.
We were satisfied with the level of care Gabriele received and we would absolutely recommend Heike as a great and reliable childminder.

Heike is so professional and she so helpful and friendly. Our daughter had really good time with her. She enjoyed her days at her. They were in forest school and other lovely places. She helped us a lot.

Heike Bath cares so much for each child in her care and I cannot recommend her enough. She cares for my son Jenson and he just loves being in her care. When I went back to work it was really hard on me but Heike made the transition so smooth.
She has an amazing set up at her home for Childminding - MUST SEE.
She takes the children out and about and gives them adventures.
She is flexible and even meets me at a location for pick up and drop off in BRADLEY STOKE where I live to accommodate us!
She is AMAZING. She goes above and beyond for the children in her care.

Joshua has been attending Heike's setting since July '16, and since that time, we feel he has come on in leaps and bounds. He has become independent and his social skills have greatly improved. His communication skills are fantastic and his level of understanding at his age now is incredible. We are very impressed with with all of the activities that Joshua does when he's with Heike from going to softplay, the forest, parks, etc. and he always comes home stimulated and tired after a busy day of playing and learning. Heike also encourages the children to be creative by doing baking and arts and crafts and Joshua is always proud to show us what he's made at the end of each day. He adores going to Heike's and every morning he's ready at the door with his rucksack eager to get out of the door!! He's doing incredibly well and we are very grateful to Heike. We would highly recommend Heike to anyone.

To whom it may concern,
Our daughter, Isla Garland, has been with Heike Bath since June 2014. She is now 3 years old and fully enjoys all the interaction that Heike has to offer. Heike takes the kids on many day trips and takes them on a variety of experiences which Isla likes to tell us about when she comes home.
Heike also has a brilliant set up at her home for the childrens play area and a large garden for the kids to run around.
Heike is very flexible in terms of our work arrangements (drop off or pick up specific area to accommodate our work commitments).
We really like that Heike fills in Isla's journey daily to let us know what she's been up to.
Isla has had issues going to the toilet at Heike's recently. Heike has been very patient and working with us and Isla to hopefully get her back on track using the toilet while in her care.
We really enjoy that Isla does a lot of crafts and we (and Isla) love to put them on display around our house.
We would highly recommend Heike Bath to any friends looking for a childminder.

Our son Adam started to attend Heike's settings in March 2014, when he was 9 months old.
Adam did not have any problems with settling in. Heike is very caring, organised and reliable childminder.
Heike is getting kids involved in lots of activities such as craft, baking etc.
Adam, nearly every day, brings home new art works and he is very proud about them.
They always make stuff relevant to particular time of year which means that they learn about all important events.
Children have a good balance between staying in very well set up house and
going out to playgrounds, zoo's, farms, soft-plays, forest school...
We have not heard about another childminder which spends so much time outdoors what is very important these days.
Our son prefer to stay in the garden then watch cartoons what we believe is also Heike's merit.
Heike was always happy to provide advice what for us meant a lot, as Adam's grandparents and rest of the family lives abroad.
Heike always cooperates with us so potty training and ditching dummy went smoothly.
We were so happy with Adam's development and he loves days when he goes to Heike's house, that we have decided not to send him to preschool but keep him with Heike also the last year before he starts school.
It was a very good decision as Heike is working very hard on Adam's literacy and numeracy, which can be challenging sometimes, as it's not easy to keep him focused.
Another proof, how happy we are with Heike's services, is that when our second son, Daniel, was born, we didn't even think about different option but to ask Heike to look after him as well.
Now, both our sons are having fun at Heike's.
We think, that they are hitting their milestones and have very versatile interests thanks to environment they are in.
When Adam had to stay at Heike's overnight, when our youngest was born we felt that it was better then to leave him with close friends as he feels safe there and feels comfortable around Heike's family.
Our children love to socialize with other kids so they can not wait until next visits at child clubs.
Heike is very supportive and flexible with providing her care, even with a very short notice.
Both our sons love her and this is the best confirmation of what kind of childminder Heike is.

Heike looked after our son for just over 3 years, from the age of 5 months until he was 3 and half years old. Our son is extremely fond of both her and her family. She played a crucial role in helping us to raise a very happy, confident & bright boy. She has always been helpful with some advice on any topic in regards to teaching Leo (e.g. Potty training, teaching him to dress himself, etc). Heike has also been very supportive & flexible to help ensure we always had childcare with both our busy and every changing work schedules. We feel Heike also supported us to help raise Leo in line with our preferences and any specific requirements. We are really sad to leave, however we feel that we are fortunate to have had her in our lives. We wish both her & her family the very best for the future and we would highly recommend her.

I chose Heike to be my childminder from personal recommendations.
Heike behaves nicely to the children and the children are happy at her setting.
My daughter was so happy there and really loves Heike and her children.
I've been impressed by the range of toys and activities/crafts that keep the children active at her setting. I still treasure the lovely photo frame present on the Mothersday made by my daughter with Heike 's help.She would love to go to Heike's house even on weekend if there was an option. She was also very flexible with her work times as she was very kind to take care of my daughter during those unexpected traffic blocks or meetings and Heike made sure that my daughter was happy.

I am single Dad with 3 years old little Girl for last 9 month. She is really amazing establish with her growing as 3+ old with Heike. I found Heike on the web and council child care list which is really helpful and very flexible Childminder. Truly lot of support me and my daughter have many improvement on her good correctors. This is my first experience with childminder, to be honest she is one of the best for me and I am pretty sure I will be recommend Heike as a good childminder.

Our son was with Heike from 9 months old which allowed me to return to work knowing he was being looked after.
Heike enhanced his learning and developing skills whilst exploring and embracing adventures. Heike has been fully able to utilise her creative and fun skills whilst identifying when quiet times are needed.
Heike creates a safe environment at home which allows children to free play as well as engage into structure activities which are fun, exciting as well as educational.
Overall, I would thoroughly recommend Heike's expertise, dedication and abilities as a childminder.

Heike has been our daughter's childminder for over 21/2 years (she started going to Heike at 7 months old, just prior to me having to go back to work). Our daughter has been with Heike on a more or less full time basis. We have been extremely impressed by the care Heike offers, her expertise and flexibility.
Our daughter is very fond of Heike (and her family)and has developed in to an outgoing, confident little girl whilst in her care.
We have been really impressed by the amount and range of activities that she does - ranging from the variety of play groups they attend, soft play, playgrounds, forest skills days, picnics and trips to local attractions, to the activities they undertake a Heike's setting ie cooking, art etc. In addition, Heike has fantastic facilities for the children in her setting - with a fully equipped playroom and outdoor play area.
Our daughter has had the benefit of being looked after within a warm, loving home environment, whilst also getting the benefit of mixing with,and playing with, larger groups of children at the various play groups and childminder events they attend. Our daughter can even understand a few words in German - which has been an unexpected bonus.
Heike has been on hand with advice on nutrition, potty training and various developmental stages, which was been invaluable as a new parent!
Heike is an extremely reliable, trustworthy, and caring childminder, and I have no hesitation in recommending very highly.
